Family Chiropractic Center for Wellness invites residents of Hudson and Spring Hill to our center for sports injury relief. If you are searching for a chiropractor in the Hernando County area, we welcome the opportunity to care for you and your family. Our chiropractors, Dr. Brian K. Dahmer, Dr. Anish Patel and Dr. Robert Del Grosso examine your injury to determine the most effective approach for healing. Our health team wants you to return to your sport play as quickly as possible, while also strengthening you to reduce your chances of future injuries. We use a variety of techniques to establish a natural, healing environment in your body and our chiropractic approach has found much success in the athletic community.
If you are a professional athlete, amateur athlete, avid fitness participant or weekend warrior, we applaud your commitment to an active lifestyle. While most of the time, activity keeps people going, an unexpected injury may slow your progress or curb your efforts altogether. We want to avoid delays and return you to your favorite activities quickly and safely. Some injuries take longer to recover than others and after our chiropractors evaluate your condition, we give you a better idea of the duration needed to fully recover. Common sports injuries that chiropractic care is beneficial for, include concerns such as:
We have two locations, one in Spring Hill and one in Hudson to care for your injuries. Our chiropractors manually adjust your spine and joints to position them in the best alignment. When your neck and back are aligned, blood flow increases to and from your injured areas to reduce inflammation and pain. A joint that is positioned naturally is also stronger and less susceptible to further injury. Our chiropractors also use cold laser therapy to promote healing. The laser is applied to your injured area. You do not experience any discomfort since the laser is penetrating to deeper muscle tissues. The laser creates heat which increases blood flow and nutrients to the cells in the area. This speeds healing and reduces recovery time. We also provide decompression therapy to increase the amount of space between the vertebrae. This reduces pressure on discs and helps your body recover from disc herniations. Our health team provides corrective exercises to restore muscle strains by keeping the area strong and flexible.
If you are in need of sports injury evaluations or recovery treatments, please call our Spring Hill office at 352-340-5936 or our Hudson office at 727-862-8571.
